We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

This is a unique technology lead role providing a platform to lead the end-to-end project deliveries from a technical perspective which involves hands-on coding, building world class architectural solutions and walking on a road full of challenges.

Asset Distribution Engine team works on the latest technologies, frameworks and tooling which provides a great opportunity to learn and grow on the job.
• You will be responsible for handling a team (POD/PODs) working for a software delivery
• Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the project, preparing a technical delivery plan and ensuring the timelines are met
• Implementation (Coding) of assigned modules/tasks and providing technical solutions/designs to the team; Mentoring the team members and guiding them to build reusable code bases
• Liaising with product owners, BAs and developers for clarity on stories, acceptance criteria and testing scope
• Working closely with architecture team to deliver solutions that appropriately address business needs and timelines having futuristic thought process and embedded design thinking
• Working with different stakeholders from different locations ensuring delivery is at focus
• Providing guidance to the DevOps engineers on the engineering approaches to implement solution

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Bachelors or Master Degree in relevant stream
• A minimum of 8 years' IT software Development experience,
• Strong knowledge and hands on experience on Java 8 or above, SpringBoot, JUnits, Maven and SQL
• Extensive hands on experience on APIs and Web/micro Services (REST, SOAP)
• Hands on experience on React JS, Node JS, HTML5 and advanced CSS
• API Contract Design (RAML/Swagger) and design thinking
• Well versed in API integration, Service-oriented architecture and development
• Databases (relational, non-relational) ideally Oracle/ Mongo
• Experience in solution design and development on modular Java applications/APIs and Database
• Proven ability to define and build architecturally sound solution designs
• Experience on cloud platforms (PCF/AWS/GCP/Azure), Knowledge on GCP/IKP is a plus
• Tooling - Hands on experience on Sonar, Checkmarx, Jenkins, GitHub etc
• Experience in estimating development efforts and delivery planning
• Experience working in Agile, DevOps using JIRA/Confluence, Splunk, AppDynamics, CI/CD automation

In this role, you will:
• Perform Automation Testing E2E of HUB projects.
• Ability to analyse automation scripts in Selenium / TOSCA and fix the errors during test execution.
• Ability to design automation testing framework with testing tool.
• Carry out detailed requirements analysis.
• Design, develop and maintain reusable automated test scripts.
• Ensure traceability between requirements and test scripts.
• Prepare data tables for automated tests.
• Use utilities and tools to support testing.
• Adhere to the relevant organizational processes.

Requirements

The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:
• About 3-4 years of IT experience in testing preferably on automation testing.
• Fluent oral English, proficient English writing and reading skills.
• Fair knowledge on Java, Python is desirable.
• Highly organized mind set with the ability to work under pressure and operate in a multi-functional, matrix environment.
• Ability to understand application requirements, ability to design test scripts from stated requirements or test cases.
• Expertise in test automation tools like Selenium, TOSCA.
• Experience in AS400 and Agile methodology, experience in Payment domain.
• Proficient in automation testing techniques, experience in AS400 / HUB is mandatory.
• Should have worked on large/flagship programs like Upgrades, conversion, migration, clustering etc.
• Understands application business area and application requirements.
• Functional exposure to the banking and finance domain, particularly payments.
• Understanding of the relevant technology domains,
• High degree of interpersonal and communication skills, good team player.
• Should be able to automate Web based application, API, AS400 screens, PDF, excel/notepad read and write operations.
• Candidate should be able to identify test Scenarios for automating testing.
