Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in vehicles and industrial equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Assemble and disassemble components as needed for repairs or replacements.
Utilize schematics to understand complex systems and ensure accurate repairs.
Conduct heavy lifting as required to move parts or equipment safely.
Weld components when necessary to repair or fabricate parts.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to complete tasks effectively and efficiently.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Diesel Mechanic or similar role in a dealership setting is preferred.
Strong understanding of automotive repair techniques and practices.
Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems.
Experience working with industrial equipment is a plus.
Proficient in heavy lifting techniques; must be able to lift heavy components safely.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
