Job description
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet vehicles & customer vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions.
- Conduct inspections and testing of vehicles to ensure safety and functionality.
- Complete accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Follow up any reports of faults reported by drivers, diagnose and repair where possible.
- Prepare fleet vehicles for MOT tests.
Skills/Requirements:
- Have Full UK Driving Licence. HGV Class 1 entitlement is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- Alternate Saturdays depending on work load
Salary:
- Competitive. To be confirmed depending on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,301.75-£50,858.29 per year

Vehicle Technician
£28-40k basic DOE, plus uncapped bonus (Around £15,000-£20,000)
Southport
Permanent/Full Time - 40 hours per week, weekend on rota & paid as overtime
Our client, a Motor Trade main dealer group in the Southport area of Merseyside, is on the lookout for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. If you are fully qualified and hold the right experience – this could be your next role! Please apply today.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Servicing vehicles
• Assisting less experienced Technicians
• Carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturers' guidelines.
• Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.
• Advising the Service Receptionists about required repairs.
• Producing time estimates.
• Maintaining repair and service records
• The right individual must be confident and professional in their approach while being someone who can be efficient.
Your Background & Skill:
• City and Guilds or NVQ Automotive Servicing and Repair Level 3
• Knowledge of Warranty procedures
• Ability to work within time frames.
• Experience working within a main dealer workshop is essential.
• Must hold a Full UK driving licence.
