Job Description
We are in need of a skilled Mechanic to assemble, maintain, and repair machinery and vehicles.
You will be tasked with ensuring the functionality and reliability of machines, engines, and mechanical systems.
An excellent mechanic must possess manual dexterity and great attention to detail, working with various machines and tools while following safety precautions.
Responsibilities
Build and assemble machines or mechanical components as per requirements.
Inspect machines, engines, transmissions, etc., and run diagnostic tests to identify functionality issues.
Conduct repairs focusing on maximum reliability and troubleshoot reported problems promptly.
Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
Clean, apply lubricants to machinery components, and replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery.
Provide consultation on proper maintenance and preventive measures to machine or vehicle users.
Undertake assigned duties like repair of hydraulic systems, painting vehicles, etc.
Keep detailed work logs and report any issues.
Requirements and Skills
Proven experience as a Mechanic.
Excellent knowledge of machinery, hydraulics, electrical, and other systems, and their components.
Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers, etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers).
Ability to follow established procedures, read instructions, blueprints, etc.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety guidelines.
Effective communication skills, problem-solving ability, and good physical strength and stamina.
