Key Responsibilities
• Diagnostics: Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify vehicle issues.
• Repairs: Fix and replace faulty parts and systems, including engines, brakes, and transmissions.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Technical Skills: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform repairs.
• Customer Service: Communicate with customers to explain vehicle issues and the work required.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used.
Qualifications
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive repair preferred.
• Certification: ASE certification is a plus.
