Automotive Mechanic – Roadside Assistance Patrolman
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Automotive Mechanic to join our Roadside Assistance Patrol team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic role where no two days are the same, helping customers on the road with vehicle issues.
What We Offer:
On-road and in-house training
Fully maintained late-model vehicle, fuel card, and tools supplied (all major tools included)
Rotating day shift roster: 6am–6pm | 7am–7pm | 9am–9pm
12-hour shifts (with scheduled breaks)
Excellent pay rate with commission opportunities
Flexible part-time and full-time contract arrangements
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to roadside assistance calls promptly and professionally
Diagnose and resolve a range of mechanical issues efficiently
Deliver excellent customer service with empathy and care
Maintain accurate service records and reports
Represent the company with professionalism and reliability
Essential Requirements:
Current Motor Mechanic licence
Valid full Australian driving licence
Proven diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
Ability to demonstrate empathy and willingness to assist
Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
