Our busy 10 bay Automotive Service Department in Canadian Tire is currently looking 2 Experienced Licensed Mechanic - MUST HAVE A VALID 310S LICENSE and Your Own Tools- Minimum 1 yr+ as a working Licensed Mechanic.
You should have strong diagnostic skills and be able to diagnose various makes and models. We are a very busy shop. You must be able to multi-task and work on more than one car at a time. Having experience on higher in vehicles is an asset - Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Remote Car starter installation experience, etc. Canadian Tire experience also preferred. We pay our techs $38-$40/hr- + staff discounts, benefits, profit sharing. - flat rate - very busy shop.
We are expanding to a new 19 bay shop in 1yr 1/2
Our techs here average over 100 units++

Duties:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and suspension issues.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve automotive problems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues or areas of concern.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions about vehicle repairs.
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles.
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to lift heavy objects. Automotive mechanic certification is a plus.
