About the role
As a Mechanic at SNAP Service (trading as Frankton Tyre Services), you’ll keep vehicles running smoothly for SNAP Rentals, USAVE, and our retail customers.
You’ll service and repair vehicles, handle tyres, perform wheel alignments, and tackle mechanical issues, all while maintaining a safe and tidy workshop.
You’ll also record your work in our systems, manage parts and supplies, and help ensure every vehicle leaves in top condition.
About you - experience and qualifications
You’re a qualified mechanic with at least 2 years’ experience, who takes pride in doing things right and enjoys solving mechanical problems. You’re curious, eager to keep learning, and happy to jump in wherever the workshop needs you.
You have a full New Zealand driver’s license, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication and customer service skills. You’re flexible, willing to work extra hours when needed, and have a clean police record with the ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
Two contactable references and an open work permit in New Zealand complete the picture.
