Key Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and cooling systems.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks: oil/filter changes, tire rotations, alignments, and fluid checks.
Conduct road tests and post-repair inspections to ensure repairs meet quality standards.
Review work orders, estimate parts and labor costs, and maintain accurate service documentation.
Keep the workspace clean and safe, adhering to all safety regulations.
Advise service advisors and customers on necessary repairs and future maintenance needs.
Qualifications
Completed automotive technician certificate or apprenticeship; Red Seal Certification preferred.
At least 1–2 years of experience in general automotive repair (dealership or independent shop).
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, manufacturer specs, and common repair procedures.
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
