European car specialist workshop looking for an experienced light vehicle technician to join our team. Eastern suburbs automotive is a well established European car specialist performing a wide variety of repairs on all Euro makes and models. key responsibilities include:
Aiding mechanics and workshop staff.
All car repairs and more complex mechanical repairs.
Finding and identifying faults on engine, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, steering and transmissions.
General service and maintenance work in line with log book specifications.
Using diagnostic scan tools
Test drive vehicles
Registration inspections (if licensed)
A/C license preferred but not essential
Applicant requirements:
Qualified Automotive Mechanic, licensed in NSW
Highly motivated and energetic when dealing with fellow employees and workshop staff.
Experience in working on late model and high end European vehicles
Experience with older vehicles and classics desirable.
vehicle diagnostics capability essential.
Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
Takes pride in working in a clean and professional manner
Pink slip license desirable, but not essential
A/C license desirable.
Ability to work unsupervised
A valid NSW drivers license is essential.
Punctual and reliable
