Responsibilities
Boost Auto is seeking an experienced automotive painter that will be responsible for painting aftermarket pickup truck parts such as cab lights, side view mirrors, etc
to match the desired vehicle color
This position requires a high level of detail to ensure customers’ expectations are met
Mix paint according to customers’ desired specifications
Prime, paint and clear coat provided parts with a high level of workmanship and attention to detail
Inspect painted parts for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, sags and unpainted areas
Properly diagnose any quality concerns and resolve
Work efficiently to ensure that orders are moving through the paint booth in a timely manner
Identify best practices for how to prep and paint parts
Cooperate and assist other personnel in the prepping of parts
Assist personnel in monitoring and adjusting inventory levels of required paint, solvent, vinyl, masking supplies, and other expendable materials and supplies
Maintain all paint spraying, paint mixing, and related equipment in clean and satisfactory working condition
