Automotive Repair and Diagnostics Technical Content Writer - Remote
The ideal applicant of this position should have a strong level of automotive repair and diagnostics and be able to write technical how-to and repair content.
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Automotive repair experience, dealership level preferred.
• Skilled in diagnostics and repair, able to diagnose technical issues using vehicle-specific fault codes.
• Experience in technical writing, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Create, revise, and edit technical documentation, including work instructions, process guides, global test instructions, gap analysis, and specifications.
• Ensure technical documentation is accurate, consistent, and up-to-date.
• Research and use appropriate technical terminology and language to communicate effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation meets project requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation standards and templates to ensure consistency across the organization.
• Review and edit documentation created for other teams for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style and formatting guidelines.

• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
