What you will do - Essential responsibilities
• Inspect, recondition, and repair vehicles to ensure our customers feel safe and at ease.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians to solve technical problems quickly and efficiently.
• Gain valuable experience as an automotive mechanic across a diverse range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Promote our standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.

Qualifications and requirements
• Experience in areas including engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, or heating and air conditioning.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Where required by State/Local law, maintain ASE Certifications.
• In California, Certified Technicians (Mechanical Associate 4) must maintain ASE Certification in Engine Repair (A1), Steering and Suspension (A4), Brakes (A5), and Heating Air Conditioning (A7). Master Certified Technicians (Mechanical Associate 5) must maintain ASE Certification in Engine Repair (A1), Transmission/Transaxle (A2), Manual Drive Train and Axles (A3), Steering and Suspension (A4), Brakes (A5), Electrical (A6), Heating Air Conditioning (A7), and Engine Performance (A8).

The hourly rate for this position is: $26.+5 - $28.60
Benefits:
Associates who are full-time hourly or commission/incentive eligible are entitled to paid sick, vacation, and holiday time:
• Up to 48 hours of sick time per year, accrued per pay period, and between 80 hours and 200 hours of vacation time per year after a +0-day waiting period, based on years of continuous service.
• Eligible for 8 hours of pay for each of the 6 scheduled paid holidays per year, plus 1 floating holiday. If an associate works on a scheduled holiday due to business need, they are eligible for Holiday Premium Pay.
Full-time salaried associates are entitled to paid time away with no specified limit as needed for sickness, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, and floating holidays, subject to manager approval.
