Job Description
Tesla, Inc. is seeking a skilled Automotive Repair Technician to join our team in Alexandria. As a Panel Beater Specialist, you will be responsible for performing structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla vehicles in accordance with company-specific repair procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla Models S, 3, X & Y vehicles using Celette Frame Jigs and adhering to strict quality standards.
Glue, rivet, and weld structural components being replaced, ensuring seamless integration with the vehicle's original structure.
Repair exterior cosmetic panels via metal finishing and body filler techniques.
Replace all parts associated with collision repair, including body panels, suspension parts, vehicle structure, radiators, airbags, and trim.
Proficient in MIG welding and adhere to industry-standard safety protocols.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience as an automotive collision repair technician.
Excellent attitude and ability to work effectively in teams.
Neat and organized work habits, with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
I-CAR Australia welding certification is highly regarded.
Certificate in collision repair and maintenance is preferred.
Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Capable of reading and comprehending complex automotive repair procedures.
Compensation and Benefits:
A competitive hourly rate based on experience, ranging from $40 to $55 per hour.
