Certified and/or Experienced Automotive Technician

This immediate opening is for an Automotive Technician who can work on new and/or used cars it is a full-time permanent position with pay that is highly competitive. We are open evenings and Saturdays. Below you will see the great suit of big business benefits we offer.

General Job Description:
• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair work in accordance with company and manufacturer quality standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Inspect vehicles
• Diagnose problems
• Perform adjustments and calibrations
• Replenish fluids, disassemble, and reassemble vehicle components
• Repair and replace parts
• Identify additional work required
• Road test vehicles for diagnosis and repair verification
• Use independent judgment to make decisions requiring the application of procedures and practices to specific work situations
• Document work and hours per manufacturer and/or company policies.
• Additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
• Prefer 2 years manufacture experience but will consider and discuss applicants with 2 years other line technician experience.
• Certifications as appropriate for individual position. (i.e. Technical Certificate, ASE certificate)
• Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities
• Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
