Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Technician Apprentice to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automotive maintenance, tire work & repair, inspections on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues.
Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended repairs.
Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
Requirements
Experience in Automotive Trade or similar role, preferably.
Basic knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Willing to train the right candidate, experience an asset but not requried.
