Job Summary:
The Auto Service Advisor is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their vehicle service needs, and ensuring timely and accurate communication between the customer and service team. This role is vital in delivering excellent customer experiences and ensuring satisfaction with every visit.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and determine their vehicle service needs.
Provide accurate estimates and explain services in a clear and professional manner.
Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work.
Keep customers informed about service progress, additional repairs, and timelines.
Maintain detailed and accurate service records in the system.
Handle customer concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
Promote additional services and maintenance as appropriate.
Ensure a clean and welcoming service area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or automotive coursework a plus.
Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in the automotive industry preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Profesional phone ettiquette
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and services.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficient with computer systems and dealership software (experience with Mitchell 1 is a plus).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
