Job Description
We are seeking a level 2 or above Automotive Technician to join our team. We are hiring for both locations 1+ Crestwood Rd Thornhill, ON L4J 1V7 and 38++ Hwy 7Woodbridge, ON L4L 1A6.
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in a dealership environment. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires proficiency with hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and assembly tasks.
Responsibilities
Diagnose vehicle issues using appropriate diagnostic equipment and techniques.
Perform repairs and maintenance on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance services on vehicles.
Assemble components as necessary during repair processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options.
Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and resolve complex mechanical issues.
Adhere to all safety protocols while performing tasks in the workshop.
Requirements
Level 2 apprentice or above that.
Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership setting is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.
Certification from an accredited automotive program is a plus but not mandatory.
