FrontLine Automotive and Gabe’s Truck & Auto Repair are locally owned shops in Fairbanks where the focus is simple: do the work right and treat people well.
The shop was built with a clear goal, create a better way to work and a better place to be part of a team. That mindset still drives how things are done today. As we’ve grown, we now operate across two nearby facilities in Fairbanks, giving our team more flexibility, better workflow, and room to do the job right.

Pay & Schedule
$110,000 – $130,000+ depending on experience, productivity, and role fit
Flexible pay structure: hourly, flat rate, or hybrid
Sign-on bonus: $10,000–$15,000 (paid out over time based on qualifications)
Monday–Thursday schedule
7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Every weekend is a 3-day weekend

Paid Time Off: 1 week after 6 months, grows with tenure. 2 weeks at 5 years and 3 weeks at 10 years
What This Role Looks Like
You’ll be working on a wide range of vehicles, handling diagnostics, testing, and repair work across all major systems.
Diagnose and repair drivability, electrical, and mechanical issues
Perform testing and inspection using modern tools and equipment
Work on all makes and models
Collaborate with a team that communicates and supports each other
Mentor and support less experienced technicians as the team grows

Modern diagnostic tools: Snap-On, Autel, Matco, iScan
Full scanning, programming, and scope capability
Digital inspections through Tekmetric
Average 20–25 cars per day when fully staffed
Each technician works across two bays for efficiency

Experienced, well-rounded technician
Diagnostic ability (this is a big one)
Works efficiently and delivers reliable, accurate repairs
Willingness to earn ASE certifications (NAPA Gold requirement)
Someone who values honesty, integrity, and doing things right
