Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, ensuring that vehicles are serviced and maintained to the highest standards. This role requires a commitment to customer service and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Utilize power tools and equipment to conduct repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently.
Assemble components and systems as required for vehicle repair or enhancement.
Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle needs and repair options.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
Collaborate with team members in a dealership setting to meet service goals and maintain high-quality standards.
Engage in heavy lifting as necessary during repairs or parts replacement, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably in a dealership environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
Familiarity with automotive repair techniques, including welding when necessary.
Proficient in using power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems.
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 – 42 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
