A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN - MECHANIC
In this auto repair position, you diagnose and repair various vehicles. When customers come into our shop, you speak to them about the issues they are having with their car. Then, you begin testing and troubleshooting their vehicle. As you diagnose the car, you keep an open line of communication with the client, discussing the servicing options they have. Then, you write an order and perform the agreed-upon service, repair, or maintenance. You love learning something new each day on the job and take pride in providing world-class service to each client!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN - MECHANIC
• Experience servicing and repairing cars
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Knowledge about both foreign and domestic vehicles
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification would be a plus. Can you work independently? Do you operate with honesty and integrity? Can you work efficiently without sacrificing quality? Are you attentive to detail? Can you manage a variety of tasks effectively? Are you service-oriented? Are you a skilled communicator? If yes, you might just be perfect for this auto repair position!
WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN - MECHANIC
This position is full-time and typically works 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday.
