This role requires a commitment to customer service, as you will interact with clients to assess their vehicle needs and provide solutions.
Duties
Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle makes and models.
Utilize power tools and equipment for automotive repair tasks.
Assemble and weld components as necessary for repairs.
Conduct routine maintenance checks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended services.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in automotive repair.
Experience
Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic is preferred, particularly in a dealership setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about their vehicle needs.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment.
Familiarity with power tools, welding techniques, and assembly processes is advantageous.
