Malibu Motors has been proudly serving customers in Victoria for 30 years .The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, ensuring that vehicles are maintained and repaired to the highest standards. This role requires a commitment to customer service and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, often involving heavy lifting and the use of power tools.
Duties
Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Assemble and weld components as necessary for repairs or modifications.
Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle's needs and repair processes.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the dealership environment.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in automotive repair.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role within a dealership setting is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills related to automotive systems.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with clients.
A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive repair are a plus.
A willingness to learn new techniques and stay current with advancements in automotive technology.
