Position Summary:
AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Mobile, AL, that is an international pioneer in the industry. They are a leader in designing, manufacturing,g and delivering aerospace products, services, and solutions to customers on a global scale. A commercial aircraft manufacturer, with Space and Defense as well as Helicopters Divisions, they are the largest aeronautics and space company in Europe and a worldwide leader. We are looking for an Automotive Transmission Mechanic who is seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!
Job Description:
• Responsible for providing maintenance, repair and overhaul support on the ADU equipment at both the ADU shop and/or on the production line.
• Set up, Repaired, and implemented automatic drilling units, fixtures, and templates in collaboration with production needs.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Completed vocational training, secondary education, or equivalent in the mechanical or metals field and able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the type of mechanical work performed in a mechanical shop environment.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mechanical component maintenance, repair, and overhaul shop environment.
• Preferred experience in maintenance, repair, and overhaul of pneumatic/hydraulic components, e.g., automotive transmission overhaul, pneumatic valves and component overhaul.
• A vocational/technical certificate will be considered in lieu of experience for entry-level positions
