SkyCity Auckland is New Zealand's centre of entertainment with over 20 award winning bars and restaurants, two 5-star and one 4.5 star hotel, a world-class casino and the iconic Sky Tower. Providing our customers with the best possible entertainment experience is our goal, and our expert team of Entertainment Technicians deliver live events, entertainment and AV system support across our busy precinct.
You'll be responsible for the set-up and operation of a wide variety of pro sound, lighting, staging and video equipment, as well as providing high quality technical support for our wide range of state-of-the-art event and audio-visual technology. A minimum of 2 years' experience in the industry is required however on the job training is provided across all our equipment and technology platforms.
Because we're a diverse business and attract people from all walks of life, we need someone who is customer focused; someone who readily adjusts their approach to suit our guests and is committed to getting the best possible results. You'll also bring to the role the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and the skills required to learn new technologies quickly and to effectively troubleshoot any issues which may arise.
