• Collateral preparation including detailed financial model, investor memorandum, valuation materials, data book with analysis & insights etc- Independent management of the syndication process up to receipt of term sheets (sell side) and managing initial term sheets discussions
• Independent coordination of due diligence process- Active participation in negotiation of definitive docs and structuring discussions
• Independent management of entire closing phase- Engagement tracking, reporting and housekeeping (maintaining updated client agreements, billing OOPE, etc.)Sector coverage & business development :- Mapping of assigned segment (product, geography or industry group)- Maintaining a database of companies in assigned segment
• Outreach to companies (cold calling, attending conferences)- Generating and following up on new deal ideas- Pre-sales support by preparing effective, customized sales pitches
• Making the initial pitch to prospective clients- Assisting in publishing of research reports, articles, newsletters etc periodically- Industry NetworkingIndependent client engagement :
• Managing all deal related issues except those critical or sensitive to the transaction e.g. valuation, negotiation strategy and managing client meetings in the absence of Supervisor- Support in managing client relationships after a transaction- Build relationships with
