We are currently recruiting for a Aviation Protection Officer to be based at Dubbo Airport on a Part-Time basis.

As an Aviation Protection Officer you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused security services while creating safe and memorable travel experiences for travellers and visitors transiting through Dubbo Airport.

The Position:
As the Aviation Protection Officer you will be responsible for:
Demonstrated ability to engage with customers, consistently providing a high quality, positive experience.
Demonstrated potential to undertake screening activities in a fast-paced airport environment
Applied skills, knowledge, and physical ability to perform all Security and Safety emergency procedures
Ensure compliance with security and safety procedures and regulatory requirements
Consistently display professional standards of behaviour and personal presentation
The ability to work in a fast-paced ever changing team environment
Utilize excellent verbal communication skills
Complete incident reports as required
Engage with travellers and visitors in a positive manner when they are transiting through and arriving and departing the terminal.
Skills and Experience:
You will have:
Ability to obtain/endorsed for Aviation Transport Security Protection Qualification (TSP)
Ability to successfully pass Drug and ******* screening and Medical assessments
Ability to obtain an ASIC (Criminal history clearance)
Availability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
