Hybrid Working

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Introduction:
We are looking for an experienced lead Developer (AVP) to join our Sales IT team in Pune. The individual will play a key role in development, support, enhancement and build-out of strategic applications in our portfolio. As a part of the role the individual would also be responsible to work with the global team members towards delivery of agile sprints. This position involves hands-on application development using cutting edge technologies (Salesforce) in collaboration with our globally distributed development teams.
What will you be doing?
• Translates Business requirements (Sales, Research, RSG) into low level design for database architecture.
• Creating managing and troubleshooting Qlik, Tablue Dashboards and Monitor servers.
• Build the data logic, data models and interfaces for QlikSence, Tablue dashboards.
• Should have clear understanding of fundamentals of Data were hosing & Data management in Data ware house.
• Write automation for data load and data manipulation using Script technologies like – Python, Java.
• Should be able to understand End to End flow of data. Business data representation for same.
What we’re looking for:
• 10+ years total experience and 6+ years of hand on experience in QlikView, Tablue development
• Fundamental knowledge of Data Warehouse Design & Development.
• Build the data logic, data models and interfaces for Tablue, QlikSense dashboards.
• Qlik scripting knowledge: understanding Qlik scripting, data analysis and Qlik data models.
• Developing front end applications using Tablue & QlikSense
• QVD knowledge: Understanding how QVDs work with QlikView to provide a scalable, reusable, metadata-driven data layer.
• Extract, transform and load data from multiple data sources into the Qlik, Tablue application.
• Translates Business requirements (Sales, Research, Banking) into low level design for universe architecture.
• Work with other data engineers and analysts to build new and extend existing data structures.
• Develop, maintain, and support BO servers. Manage different data sources and universes for data warehouses.
• Hands on experience in SQL Server development and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of investment banking specifically Sales and Research business (Sales Credit, Reference data, Interactions and Events).
• Good analytical skills, creative thinking skills and a quick learner.
• Partner with IT teams and business professionals to establish data-driven policies and strategies across the organization
• Research and troubleshoot data quality issues, providing fixes and proposing both short- and long-term solutions
• Disciplined practitioner of unit testing, version control and best engineering practice
• Comfortable driving development from a sketch to a polished product.
• Code, test, and operate integration of work as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods.
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of investment banking specifically Sales and Research business (Sales Credit, Reference data, Interactions and Events).
• Good analytical skills, creative thinking skills and a quick learner.

• Experience with Agile development methodology (SCRUM)
• Good working knowledge and experience with complex business systems and object-oriented design patterns and development
• Experience with agile development methodologies leveraging DevOps best practices will be added advantage.
