Introduction:
o EMF - Strategic is a multiyear programme that aim to increase efficiency by driving closer alignment in process and technology between key Model execution & outputs including business & process benefits. As part of 2021 and 2026 delivery we are looking to deliver critical and high materiality models across finance and risk onto strategic platform to support quicker, efficient process in preparation for future automation demands in regulatory reporting. Automation of Testing components plays a critical role to analyse, document automation processes and work closely with model owners, QA and technology to deliver the business benefits, Without having the right resource with expertise & the resource, it puts the agreed 2026 scope at risk due to challenging and demanding timelines and scope. The BOW has organically grown in 2021 & 2026
1. EMF & BCP/AWS
2. Sensitivity and Overlays UI automation: RRP will now have Sensitivity and overlays features so we need to enhance the existing Protractor and Selenium automation frame work . t
3. OCP Automation : Enhancement required in existing automation frame work to automate new feature Multi tab template Hand-in upload for OCP, this require quite amount of work as it is a complex template.
4. CCAR +Q Controls Automation : These frame work needs continuous enhancements as new rules get added for every new area of controls support like RRP, BOE etc..
5. Treasury Capital Action: to support the enhanced framework featuresThe successful candidate will need to be an Functional and Automation testing professional with a good understanding of the Hadoop architecture.
o The role holder will be responsible for technical assessment of requirements received, test effort estimation, reviewing and enhancing test design and development standards, e nsuring optimal application performance to meet and exceed the non functional requirements specified by business and customers.
o The role holder should ensure that all automation and functional testing is delivered to the highest standards in order to ensure stability and consistency. The role holder should manage and mentor junior and middle level developers on best practices and work with applications developers and technical architects within the project and across wider group
o This role will work very closely with the Test Architect Owner , Development leads and Agile Team Lead (Scrum Master) to identify and determine strategies for implementation
o This role will Identify dependencies, changes in infrastructure and suggest improvements by working with Development Tech Leads, RTB and DevOps
o Collaborate with the Product Owners and Scrum Master in prioritizing the Sprint backlog and contributing to the Product backlog grooming
o Configuring Selenium\Protractor\Test harness Test Environment (STE) in order to set it up
o Creating and designing a Automation framework
o Implementing it as per the structure of the project
o Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases
o Collating and monitoring the defect management process
o Managing the changes and executing regression tests
What will you be doing?
o Technical Responsibilities:
o Analysis & Test Design:
o
• Actively engage with Business Analysts and IT partners in the requirements analysis for system enhancements and changes.
o
• Interpret and understand functional specifications
o
• Designing the Development and Testing Strategy, Test Plan and Test cases
o
• Working independently on all phases of development and testing
o
• Actively manage the defect life cycle
o Identifying and creating the automation test cases
o Applying various designs and documenting the automation test strategy
o Creating an automation test plan and getting approval
o Support regression development and testing, impact assessment which shall be on demand basis
What we're looking for:
• Minimum 8 years of Software testing and Automation experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in oracle and writing queries
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Unix
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Testing Planning and scripting.
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Work experience as a Fullstack Developer with Java and Angular
• In-depth knowledge in Core Java, Spring framework (Spring Boot & Spring Batch), RESTful API Services and Angular
• Experience in writing test cases
• Experienced in writing Unix shell
• Good Knowledge in Relational databases and SQL
• Problem-solving abilities
• Eager to learn new technologies in Big Data Space (Hive, Impala, Spark Sql, Scala etc).
• Any cloud experience (AWS/Azure/Google/Oracle).
• Understanding of Big Data Technologies, Cloudera, Spark
• Hands on Java
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Very Good communication and organizational skills
• A strong team player
• Promote Automation, reusable components.
• Experience in Maven, Teamcity & GIT/ Bitbucket
