Aquis Search is currently assisting our client, a Global Banking and Financial Services Organization, in their search for an AVP, Litigation Support in Bangalore.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze relevant material from company systems and business teams
- Conduct research for investigations and litigations
- Assist with interviews and draft interview memoranda
- Manage reporting of US LREI matters
- Oversee large-scale document reviews and vendor teams
- Work closely with US Legal Operations team on financials and logistics
- Perform sensitive, urgent, complex document reviews
- Review and summarize potentially relevant material
- Assist in preparing exhibits for interviews
- Administer legal holds and preservation notices
- Advise on record retention policies and information lifecycle management
- Liaise with key business stakeholders
- Manage aspects of eDiscovery regulatory investigation and litigation lifecycle
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience as a Lawyer or in Legal operations
- Litigation background preferred
- Understanding of legal language, principles, and court processes
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
- Global mindset with ability to work across time-zones
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
