Your key responsibilities
Working in partnership with business & other teams, the candidate will understand business requirements, build new solutions and enhance existing toolsets to significantly reduce operational risk & enhance efficiency
Address the existing data completeness issues and month-end processes. This involves redesigning existing Microsoft Access and Excel tools to operate more efficiently and enhance analytical and reporting capabilities
Supporting efforts to consolidate the existing End User Developed Applications (EUDAs) population across Finance, significantly rationalizing the number of EUDA’s in use
Liaising with RTB/ BA/ Project managers to ensure the development work is in line with business requirements
Producing documentation for developed applications and provide training to end users
Undertaking quality assurance of deliverables
Ad-hoc development
Any other support relating to automation
Your skills and experience
A broad understanding of Finance, within an investment bank
In-depth knowledge and certification of VBA, Excel, Access database, SQL, Python, Tableau, Power Platform is required, along with associated plug-ins to market data applications.
7+ years experience
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills & experience and customer focus
Ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision

Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizations
