Introduction This is an individual contributor role where the candidate is primarily responsible for initiating, defining, delivering and synthesising analysis to optimise the risk adjusted profitability of the business. What will you be doing? • Process proposals, business cases and strategies in a short time frame to develop an analytical framework that enables the measurement of performance of existing and future activities • Relationship management to work with multiple teams - getting inputs and aligning on assumptions to create modelling approach for evaluating programs. • Create customized views that enable business teams to implement pricing strategies. • Influence and ensure proper conduct, serve as the first line of defence for the business to take appropriate decisions basis the model output. What We’re Looking For • Comprehensive knowledge and effective use of analytical tools including SQL and SAS. • Good understanding of statistical tests and interpretation of results • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. • Passionate about data analysis and how this contributes to the business. Skills That Will Help You In The Role • MBA, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics Background with work experience in an analytical role in financial services. • Hands on experience of various modelling techniques and an understanding of the credit card business
