The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance

The primary role will be as Technical Lead on our Clover team leading Android development for the Synchrony App for payments

Lead a development team through all phases of the Agile development life cycle
Identify and provide technical details for features identified by business product owners
Manage a team of software developers
Implement new technologies and assist developers as they migrate to new technologies
Develop applications using Kotlin as a leader of the development team
Influence and collaborate with software developers, UX designers, product managers, application architects, and customer application experts to create amazing apps
Mentor and influence all levels of the team: in this role, you will have the opportunity to influence up and down the chain of command
Ensure compliance with architecture, security and technology standards set by Synchrony Financial
Assist in crafting and maintaining the future state technology architectural strategy and roadmap
Participate in Agile scrums consisting of cross-functional teams

The Assistant Vice President, Senior Android Engineer craves working in a hands-on mobile application coding, design, and architecture environment, and leads by example to make sure time sensitive projects get done on time and to specifications. To be successful in this role, deep expertise in Android development and the ability to influence and lead are musts. The primary role will be as Technical Lead on our Clover team leading Android development for the Synchrony App for payments. Qualifications/Requirements
