Organizational Overview
This role will be part of the Data Architecture & Analytics group part of CTO organization.
• Data team is responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and loading(ETL).
• Data team owns and manages different tools platforms which provides an environment for designing and building different data solutions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new data sources and ensure data quality and consistency.
• Building and maintaining data models to facilitate data access and analysis by Data Scientists and Analysts
Role Summary/Purpose
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior MLOps Platform Admin to join our dynamic team and drive the implementation and optimization of our machine learning operations. You will leverage your deep expertise to build and maintain robust, scalable, and reliable MLOps pipelines. With 5+ years of hands-on experience, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between data science and engineering, ensuring the seamless deployment and monitoring of our machine learning models..
Key Responsibilities
• Understand industry trends and build a roadmap for SYF MLOps capabilities.
• Focus on faster data curation, comprehensive model governance, and automated model drift detection
• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end pipelines on MLOps platform.
• Automate model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring processes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models, integrating with tools like Jenkins, CLoudbees etc.
• Configure and manage MLOps environments, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.
• Integrate MLOps model registry with AWS storage solutions.
• Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch.
• Track model performance metrics and identify potential issues, such as model drift.
• Optimize model performance and ensure high availability in production environments.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for machine learning workflows.
• Implement data versioning and lineage tracking.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, and software developers.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Implement security best practices throughout the MLOps pipeline.
Required Skills/Knowledge
• Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Expertise in Python and experience in ML libraries like tensorflow, H2O, Anaconda etc
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with model monitoring and drift detection.
Desired Skills/Knowledge
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Understanding of AWS services, including EC2, EKS, S3, SageMaker.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty).
• Experience with other cloud platforms, like Azure, GCP.
Eligibility Criteria
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study
• Minimum 10+ years of technology experience and in lieu of a degree 12+ years of experience
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in MLOps.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships at all levels across IT and the business.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with a strong ability to lead and influence others.
• Experience working iteratively in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Demonstrated competency linking business strategy with IT technology initiatives
• Proven track record of leading and executing on critical business initiatives on-time and within budget.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and work effectively across business and geographical boundaries.
• Expertise in evaluating technology and solution engineering, with strong focus on architecture and deployment of new technology
• Superior decision-making, client relationship, and vendor management skills.
Work Timings: 3 PM to 12 AM IST
(WORK TIMINGS: This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
