Job Purpose
• To Manage the processing and Customer Service activities of Trade Services by maintaining high standards of service to our valued customers providing high revenue using a range of trade services product offerings, Relationship Managers, Senior Managers in Corporate Lending, GBS Team Managers and other related departments with the aim of increasing customers trade utilization and achieving maximum profitability of the bank.
• Ensure that SCB delivers superior level of customer service in the Region /Gulf for Premium Service Banking customers.
• To provide consultation to RMs / customers in structuring transactions.
• Responsible for actively marketing Trade Services to active and non-active customers, seeking referrals from client base, including tracking transaction statistics and limit utilization.
• To ensure compliance of all internal procedures and operations controls.
• To identify process re-engineering opportunities for improved business practices and cost savings and continuously upgrade the Quality Management Systems in the department.
• To set internal standards and procedures for the Bank, in line with developments in International Trade.
• To maximize productivity and meet service standards at controlled cost levels.
• To plan and execute the internal control function within the department.
• To migrate best practices and quality standards to and from other SCB branches.
• To continuously assess risks and mitigate them in Structured Trade.
• To sign Trade Instruments including but not limited to Guarantees, LC&rsquos, advice, Islamic documentation etc.
• Engage with Group Technology for delivery for Regional Trade requirements (Regulatory /Non-Regulatory).
Key Responsibilities
Interface with Customer:
• Establish a close relationship with the customer and act as the Primary point of contact for professional advice, enquiries, communicating and resolving discrepancies in documents/applications.
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding customer&rsquos expectation and requirements as per the Service Level Agreements.
• To ensure prompt response to customer inquiries or request related to our supported services and operational functions (
