Job Role
Processes
• Partner with Business/Product heads to drive and manage performance of the Bank
• Provide timely & accurate financial information / MIS to enable strategic decision making
• Provide coordination and support during forecasting, budgeting and monthly reporting cycles in co-operation with business heads and Regional / Country finance functions
• Analyze business performance (management and financial), review highlight risks and opportunities and drive actions to ensure committed financial outcome.
• Drive effective cost management through a rigorous cost control supported with suitable Cost management MI & analytics
• Ensure support to business stakeholders on regular and ad-hoc management meetings
• Supporting the timely delivery of SCGT process deliverables, covering Budgeting, Forecasting, and Actuals reporting, ensuring quality output in line with agreed service levels
• Update and maintenance of the Service Catalogue
• Supporting to ensure queries are addressed by the team in a timely manner, engaging with other stakeholders where necessary and considering process / documentation / reporting changes
• Support system implementations and Change management, covering inputs, validations and control reviews as well as report updates in Tableau / Service Catalogue
• Work closely with the PaPM Project teams to ensure future state development covers current processes and methodologies or where differences arise these are understood and accepted. Also work with the project teams to ensure a smooth transition to the new infrastructure and reporting to BAU
• Sufficiently develop both technical and SCB content knowledge to establish themselves as an SME in the Service Charges
Engage and influence Finance stakeholders with continuous focus on "Big Picture" and enable the decision support in line with Group FP&A strategy
Risk Management
• Monitor operational risk across planning processes and escalate key risks to right forum.

• Ensure compliance with Group Code of Conduct and Social agenda of the organization.

• Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.

• Senior members of other Finance Shared Services Centres in the industry.

Our Ideal Candidate
• Chartered Accountant or MBA with 8 - 12 years of relevant finance experience in Planning activities.
• Expert process management and reengineering skill set, including experience of leading system and process change initiatives.
• Significant subject matter understanding and experience of planning, performance analysis and financial statements, within large multinational companies in the financial services sector Specific experience in running the planning processes (or equivalent) of a complex multinational banking Group.
• Substantial experience of banking, depth and breadth of knowledge in processes especially in the areas of Planning and Management accounting and related processes.
• Experience in operating within large virtual teams and relationships across a complex network of stakeholders including senior management.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
• Strong Senior stakeholder management experience including interfacing and influencing.
• Strong strategic mindset coupled with a thorough understanding of Planning processes in Banking Industry to be an 'agent of change'.
• A leader, a team player with the management ability and track record to secure the confidence and respect of the peers, stakeholders and the executive management team.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi task, lead through ambiguities, influence where candidate does not have direct authority and build on unstructured formative situations.
• Have an excellent Systems skills (preferable planning systems), communication, analytical and decision-making skills. A strong self-starter with natural intellectual curiosity.
