Job Purpose:
Overall Responsibilities
• Conceptualize, drive and execute with business key elements of our India 3.0 Strategy
• Periodic (annual) review of strategy, assumptions vis a vis macroeconomic and other changes in the business environment
• Support the CEO's office on specific projects across the franchise
• Business monitoring and support across India and regional reviews.
• Finalizing the DBS India Scorecard across all businesses. Quarterly monitoring of progress against the India Scorecard
• Partner and review with internal stakeholders in the Annual Planning exercise
Key Accountabilities:-
• Periodic review, analysis and monitoring of all projects and initiatives including overall India Strategy (timeliness, quality, scope).
• Assist businesses to de-bottleneck and/or drive specific agenda items within the overall strategy.
• Responsible for regular assessment of financial performance and facilitation/ coordination/ monitoring of business initiatives and necessary actions in a timely manner.
• Responsible for driving implementation and monitoring of strategic cost and infrastructure priorities across the franchise
• Build/ maintain active working relationships with GMC members/offices (where appropriate) and IMC, HODs, Branch heads, and other key stakeholders within the businesses to facilitate communication, collaboration and smooth execution of all important projects
• Assist in external partnerships/representations (like CII, Bombay Chamber), as required.
• Monitor external & internal sources relevant for the bank's overall strategy: including market trends, and external developments; Also engage relevant stakeholders to gather such key information.
Required Experience:-
• Candidate who is strong performer, confident, matured to understand the confidentiality of projects
• Ability and experience in preparing and delivering presentations
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently without close supervision
• Strategic thinking combined with strong execution capability
• Strong interpersonal & stakeholder engagement skills
Technical Experience:-
• MBA / CA with relevant experience in Financial Services industry in executing complex projects and drive PMO
• Deep understanding of Banking products and underlying business drivers
• Understanding of relevant banking and financial services products, services, ecosystems and regulations.
Personal Attributes:-
• Ability to communicate complex analysis/models across a diverse team.
• Good written and oral communication
• High level of problem-solving aptitude and demonstrated organizational skills
Technical/professional knowledge and experience:-
• Good understanding of technology tools especially those related to analytics, data & modelling.
• Good understanding of the banks overall business, ability to connect/build relationships across BU/SU's
