Job Description: Assistant Vice President, Strategy
Role Overview:
- The Assistant Vice President role within Strategy entails formulating and executing strategic initiatives to enhance the Bank's performance.
- This individual will be an integral part of the Strategy team, collaborating closely with various business units/functions to identify issues, develop hypotheses, analyze data, and implement solutions.
- The role necessitates adept program management skills to ensure seamless implementation of strategies and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive strategies and execution plans to optimize outcomes for the Bank.
- Engage in consulting-style projects, collaborating closely with business units/functions.
- Identify issues, formulate hypotheses, analyze data, develop implementable solutions, and create action plans.
- Program manage and oversee implementation, ensuring clear communication of project dependencies and timelines.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Business Administration (or equivalent), with a specialization in Finance, Strategy, or General Management, preferably from a top-tier B-school.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading strategy development within large organizations in the financial services industry, with a focus on retail business or within the BSFI practice at leading management consulting firms.
- Prior experience with Big4 consulting firms is essential.
- Proficiency in banking financial statements, sector trends, and dynamics.
- Familiarity with rural and semi-urban markets is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of strategy processes, tools, and frameworks
