Roles and Responsibilities
Job Profile - This role is a critical role with the responsibility of preparation and review of financial
statement under Ind AS, regulatory compliances and statutory audit. The candidate will lead a team of
finance professionals across relevant function areas and will report to the Finance Controller.
Key Responsibilities: -
Review and oversee all aspects of Accounting and Reporting
Provide advice on financial implications of business activities
Own & Lead the preparation of Financial Statements on a monthly basis
Provide detailed commentary on MoM movements
Preparation and coordination of the annual report
Drive the monthly forecasting exercise
Development and implementation of all accounting policies & procedures in compliance with the
accounting standard and the regulatory compliances
Ensure effective internal financial controls (IFC) are in place
Manage the relationships with statutory as well as internal auditors
Closely liaise with business teams on commercial contracts and matters related to P&L
Standardise and automate financial processes in line with the business requirements
Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts
Ensure accuracy and timeline of financial and management reporting data
Analyse costs across the organisation and provide relevant inputs
Lead a team of financial professionals toward achievement of present goals.
Qualification & Experience
Candidate should be a CA having around [8-10 years – AVP/5-6 years – SM] of overall experience
and minimum [3-5 years – AVP/2-3 years – SM] experience of working in HFC /NBFC /Bank.
Skills Set
Experience in finance domain preferably with knowledge of Ind AS
Effectively and efficiently managing controls & accounts
Manage the relationship with auditors
Good communication skills should be able to make presentations to senior management.
Proficient in Excel (MS Office, email communication)
Independent, meticulous and able to multi-task
Strong analytical abilities.
Team leading capabilities.
Innovative approach, with an inclination towards system automation.
