Responsibilities
Monitor and optimize the performance of AWS databases, including proactive identification and resolution of issues to maintain high availability and performance

Perform data migrations from existing databases to ASWS, ensuring seamless transitions and data integrity
Setup and maintain database replication for high availability and disaster recovery purposes
Establish and enforce database security measures, including access controls, encryption, and data privacy best practices
Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and roles following the organization's security policies and requirements
Develop and execute database scripts to automate routine tasks and streamline operations
Monitor and analyze database activity, identify trends, and optimize query performance and resource utilization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development, troubleshoot database related issues, and provide technical guidance

About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a AWS Database Administator to join us.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor and optimize the performance of AWS databases, including proactive identification and resolution of issues to maintain high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain database backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity and minimizing downtime in case of failures.
• Design, develop, and implement databases in AWS cloud environments, aligning with scalability, security, and performance best practices.

Education and Years of Experience:
