Overview of Financial Analytics:- We are one of the leading Private Sector Banks in India with an intent to progressively increase span and scope of work addressed by the analytics teams. Role mandate is to create best in class financial analytics set-up which leverages knowledge of financials, business, system & data engineering domains.Key roles & responsibilities:Deliverables fall under 3 broad categories:- P&L; related Insights - P&L; views - Generate P&L; views, actionable insights & strategies to improve profitability of the business- Deep Dives - Conduct driver analysis of revenue and cost items - Analytical Products - Create analytical products to generate richer & quicker P&L; insights Financial Planning & Analysis:Budgets - Create bottom-up budgets/operating plans based on underlying on business drivers Variance Analysis - Tracking and ascertaining reasons of variance from plan Scenario Analysis - Create, manage & leverage analytical framework to identify optimal portfolio mix across different portfolio scenarios Competitor Intelligence & Stakeholder Asks:Stakeholder Management - Liase with business heads & product managers and enable them in meeting their P&L; goals - Competitor Intelligence - Glean out insights on competitors based on industry data (publicly available & subscription based) What's in it for you?- Intellectually Stimulating Work - Role provides an opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary environment with lot of lateral learning opportunities- Autonomy to Innovate - Analysts are both encouraged and expected to adopt 1st principle thinking, question existing practices, imagine possibilities and innovate on the existing suite of outputs.
