Specifically, An Azure Architect - tier 3, will :
• Design and develop cloud architectures using Azure services and best practices
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and clients
• Ensure the security, scalability, reliability, and availability of cloud solutions
• Optimize cloud resources and costs
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud performance and issue
• Document and update cloud architectures and processes
• Stay updated with the latest cloud computing trends and technologies
• Design and deploy network solutions using Azure Virtual Network, Azure VPN Gateway, Azure ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, Azure Load Balancer, Azure Application Gateway, Azure Traffic Manager, and other Azure networking services
• Configure and manage network security groups, network access control lists, network policies, and network security rules
• Implement and monitor network connectivity, routing, peering, and hybrid scenarios between Azure and on-premises environments
• Optimize network performance, availability, and scalability using Azure Monitor, Azure Network Watcher, Azure Network Performance Monitor, and other Azure network management tools
• Ensure network compliance with industry standards and best practices, such as Azure Well-Architected Framework, Azure Security Benchmark, and Azure Network Security Baseline
• Provide technical guidance on Azure networking solutions and best practices
• Design, develop, and manage Azure PaaS solutions like Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure PaaS offering
• Optimize and scale Azure PaaS services for performance, cost, and reliability
• Ensure compliance and security of Azure PaaS solutions following best practices and industry standards.
• Implement network redundancy and failover strategies using Azure Load Balancer and Azure Traffic Manager
• Manage DNS configurations and services within Azure, including Azure DNS
• Conduct network assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Analyse security threats using Defender for Cloud Services.
Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, development, and deployment
• Experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure network solutions will be a plus
• Expert knowledge of Azure services, tools, and frameworks
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and governance
• Proficient in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or PowerShell
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking services, features, and capabilities.
• Experience with DevOps, CI / CD, and automation tools
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Certification in Azure Solutions Architect or equivalent is a plus
