Job Title:
Azure Functions and API Backend Developer.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Functions and API Backend Developer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our backend API services and serverless applications using Microsoft Azure.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software development, cloud technologies, and a passion for building scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, test and deploy Azure Functions and API backend services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and improvements to existing services
• Ensure high code quality by following best practices, coding standards, and testing methodologies
• Build, configure and manage Azure resources such as Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Functions
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with services and applications
• Develop and maintain documentation for services and applications
Requirements:
• Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software development with a strong understanding of backend technologies
• Azure Key services - .NET – C# - API/Functions, Azure API Management, Azure Gateway, Azure LogicApp, Azure DevOps, ARM Templates, Azure Policies
• Key Authentication options - OAuth, JWT, Azure AD
• Experience with serverless computing, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies
• Experience working with SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos DB
• Understanding of RESTful API design and development
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Preferred qualifications:
Microsoft Azure Certification (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
