Job Details
Position Title: Azure Cloud Administrator & DevOps Engineer
Job Location: Remote
Experience: 1-3 Years of Relevant Exp.
Role Overview:
Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure within the Azure environment.
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
Automate workflows to improve system reliability and efficiency.
Ensure systems are safe against security threats by implementing security measures.
Install, configure, test, and maintain application software and system management tools.
Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower human intervention time on tasks using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Design and implement cloud solutions using Azure services.
Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
Update systems with the latest security patches and standards.
Plan and implement data migration and backup processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for problem resolution.
Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for production systems.
Skills
1-3 years of experience in cloud administration and DevOps roles.
Strong understanding of core Azure services, applications, and associated configurations.
Experience with virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, and Azure services.
Knowledge of networking, security, CI/CD principles, and tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus.
