Job Description
Are you an experienced System Administrator with a strong background in security and Azure administration? We're looking for someone like you to join our team!
As our System Administrator, you'll be responsible for managing and maintaining both on-premises and various cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security. You'll administer servers, networks, storage systems, and other IT infrastructure components, deploy and configure hardware, software and operating systems, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues.
To be successful in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in System Administration. You should also hold a Microsoft Azure certification AZ-104 (minimum) and have experience managing Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS GCP, Rackspace) and technologies, as well as security monitoring and system hardening.
Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of ITIL practices, application support experience with Windows and/or Linux based systems, knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Powershell. Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) and Kubernetes cluster management and deployment is a plus.
