To strengthen our development team, we are looking for Software Engineers who can design, develop and implement innovative solutions to achieve our goal.

The position is located in Corporate Bank – Payments Technology

As a Reliability Engineering lead, you build/manage continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for Payment Applications. Proactive continual improvement into the Production environment through automation of manual work, monitoring improvements and platform hygiene.

Further, this engineer role will be part of the payments scrum team comprising of engineers, functional analysts and test specialists. The team is responsible for developing and implementing micro-services and solutions around the Real-time Engine (RTE) and Payments Engine (PE) products for the SEPA implementations.

Your key responsibilities
• Work closely with agile development team / squad to deploy components for multiple releases in multiple environments. Managing, planning, scheduling and controlling software build through different stages and environments.
• Conducts application health check, generate usage reports, analyze trends and implement automation to monitor the application stability.
• Continuously improve DevOps tools and processes
• Tracks the production losses and abnormally high maintenance cost assets and explore optimization approach to reduce losses or high costs.
• Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect operations
• Ensures application / information systems compliance (including legislation, regulatory, contractual and agreed standards/policies)
• Analyze service and component availability, reliability, maintainability and serviceability. Ensure that services and components meet and continue to meet all of their agreed performance targets and service levels
• Ensures that incidents are handled according to agreed procedures and seeks resolution. Facilitates recovery, following resolution of incidents.
• Ensures that appropriate action is taken to anticipate, investigate and resolve problems in systems and services.
• Engages with agile development teams / Squads to confirm that products developed meet the service acceptance criteria, production go-live acceptance criteria and Compliant with banks change management processes and cut-off timeline.
• Verifies and approves changes ensuring protection of assets and components from unauthorized change, diversion and inappropriate use.
• Develops implementation plans for complex requests for change. Evaluates risks to the integrity of service environment inherent in proposed implementations (including availability, performance, security and compliance of the business services impacted).
• Reviews the effectiveness of change implementation and suggests improvement to organizational procedures governing change management.
• Technical analysis of the Production platform to identify and remediate performance and resiliency issues.
• Understand flow of data through the application infrastructure and dataflow so as to best provide operational support
• Event monitoring and management via a 24x7 workbench that is both monitoring and regularly probing the service environment and acting on instruction of a run book.
• Drive knowledge management across the supported applications and ensure full compliance
Your skills and experience
Must have skills
• Technologies/Frameworks:
• Shell Scripting and/or Python
• JAVA (pure JVM, Springboot), JAVA Enterprise technologies (Tomcat, REST)
• JAVA 8/OpenJDK 11 (at least) - for debugging
• Familiarity with Spring Boot Framework
• Encryption / Transport Technologies (OpenSSL, OpenSSH, sFTP)
• Certificate management (dbPKI, Certnanny)
• Data Streaming – Kafka (Experience with Confluent flavor a plus) and ZooKeeper
• Hadoop Framework
• Oracle 12c/19c - for pl/sql, familiarity with OEM tooling to review AWR reports and parameters
• No-SQL stack
• Familiarity with HBase
• ITIL v3 Certified (preferred)
• JSE, JMS, XML, JSON, Apache Camel, Drools, SpringBoot, Hazelcast, Docker, RedHat OpenShift, Kubernetes, WebServices, Oracle, Maven, Git, Eclipse
• Configuration Management Tooling:
• Ansible
• Operating System/Platform:
• RHEL 7.x (preferred), RHEL6.x
• OpenShift
• Experiences with Cloud Solution like Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform Engine or Microsoft Azure
• CI/CD:
• Jenkins (preferred)
• Team City
• Familiarity with IBM Urbancode
• APM Tooling:
• Splunk
• AppDynamics
• Geneos
• Other platforms:
• Scheduling – Ctrl-M is a plus, Autosys, etc.
• Search – Elastic Search and/or Solr+ is a plus

• Fundamental Network topology – TCP, LAN, VPN, GSLB, GTM, etc.
• Familiarity with TDD and/or BDD
• Distributed systems
• Strong Analytic skills to assess, structure and solve complex Problems and Incident
• Log file analysis: grep, find, awk, sed, etc.
• Database performance analysis , e.g. investigations based on AWR + ASH
• Familiarity with containerization/Kubernetes

Experience and qualifications
• Total 15+ years of experience in IT industry with expertise in DevOps delivery.
• Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer-Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent)
