Job Description
Helps build brand awareness, generate leads, and engage and convert prospective clients by developing, repurposing, and distributing content that appeals to different target audiences in support of the marketing and communications strategy.
Spearhead any/all aspects of content development including, email and landing page copywriting and graphic design and content distribution, including updating the website and email templates.
Ensures content is fresh, informative, and appealing to target audiences by regularly assessing performance against deliverable goals. Optimize content based on insights gathered from analytics in partnership with the analysts and Growth Marketing Team Leader.
Works with key stakeholders through the content creation process, soliciting and incorporating feedback and content revisions into final, approved communications.
Support marketing team to ensure internal requests for communications are met. Meet regularly with Business Development and Client Services to best execute on messaging and approach.
Collaborate with marketing colleagues to implement web content and design updates through their organization’s content management system.
Identify opportunities to leverage existing content in new ways to engage with the organization’s key audiences.
Keeps a pulse on sector and competitive communication trends and news articles and shares with the broader team.
Member of team supporting media relations efforts, including the crafting of content for crisis management, media preparation and interviews, and holding statements.
Monitor IT industry trends to ensure communication strategy is kept current and addresses timely topics.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree, preferably in marketing, journalism, media relations, communications, or related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B content creation for software product/services company
Excellent and proven writing, editing, and content development skills.
Excellent communications skills, with proven ability to work with peers across a business
Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to learn a content management system, experience with Drupal a plus
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Experience with HubSpot a plus
Experience with Salesforce and Asana a plus
