Hybrid Working

At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of three days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction:
The successful candidate will be a part of the Mumbai TCU team, which manages specific trade capture and closely related functions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The team helps maintain a high degree of accuracy around trade capture, which is crucial to the firm's risk management and accurate books and records.
What will you be doing?
o Responsible for Trade Capture Utility activities, which include the following:
o Initial Trade Capture
o Post Trade Activities (includes and is not limited to Trade Allocations and Trade Life-Cycling activities)
o Risk & Control
o Accurate and diligent ownership of trade bookings (including close-outs and life-cycling events)
o Prioritising and managing the workflow in an effective, efficient and timely manner in a fast paced environment
o Accountability and the risk awareness to assist the business in coordinating the rectification of complex issues across the trade flow
What we’re looking for:
o Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance
o Good communication skills both verbal and written. Fluent in English.
o Effective team player
o Demonstrate ownership and prioritise work under pressure
o Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
o Relevant experience in high volume trade/client service environment
o Knowledge of Markets, Equity Financing, Equity swaps/hedges
Skills that will help you in the role:
o Master’s degree in Business/Finance
o Understand the front to back lifecycle of a trade and its associated risks to the firm and to clients
