Commvault is currently seeking a Infrastructure Virtualization Engineer to join our dynamic BATS Enterprise Applications team here in Commvault's . The successful candidate will possess proven experience supporting high performing IT projects by delivering robust solutions. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to suggest new ideas and solutions to improve current processes as well as researching and learning new technologies and applying them when needed. How you will make an impact:
• As a Infrastructure virtualization engineer, you will be innovating and working on new infrastructure virtualization requirements, scalling of Kubernetes clusters, Virtual servers by using VMM etc. across teams of Dev managers, developers, UX and business teams.
• You would be working with multiple BATS team of developers, architects and support teams to simplify and solve business and technical challenges.
• You’ll own your work from technical design, development, deploying, maintaining and documenting.
• You’ll write clean, well-documented and functional code with unit test cases.
• As part of our Agile team, you will be responsible for architecting re-usable components/code related to infrastructure virtualization, software defined virtual network etc.

Required Mandatory Skills
• Windows System Administration (AD, DNS, IIS, Hyper-V, Failover Clustering, etc)
• PowerShell (this is a must)
• System Center Virtual Machine Manager (this is a must)
• Basic understanding of Git (doesn't matter if it's Github, ADO repos, etc)
• Basic understanding of CI/CD (doesn't matter if it's ADO, Jenkins, Github Actions, etc)
• Must have cloud experience... Azure, AWS, etc (the concepts there are somewhat "universal" and would help in understanding what we are accomplishing from a hybrid-cloud or on-prem perspective)
• Must have experience in any Kubernetes... EKS, AKS, etc (we host these microservices on Kubernetes and occasionally need to scale deployments to "fix" things)
• Basic understanding of web technologies (unsure how to phrase this... don't expect them to be able to code, but should understand difference between .NET Framework, .NET Core, what CLR means, the difference between
