Roles and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Engineer (Backend) to join our team to help develop a web application using Spring Boot. In this role, you will work closely with the development team to design, develop, test, and deploy a robust and scalable backend application.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the development team to design and develop the backend web application using Spring Boot framework.
· Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
· Test and debug the application to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
· Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with best practices.
· Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure seamless integration of the backend and frontend components.
· Work closely with the project manager to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a related field
· 3-5 years of experience developing web applications using Spring Boot
· Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
· Proficient in Java, Spring framework, and RESTful web services
· Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
· Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
· Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
· Familiarity with Git, JIRA, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
· Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
· Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure
